Coverage & Financial Benefits

• The awardee’s duty to cover tuition fees during the award’s duration for the programme is not included in the GUIPRS expense offset.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Not an Australian permanent resident or bearer of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa, an Australian national student, a New Zealand national student, or a citizen of any of these countries; and
• beginning or enrolling in a Griffith University HDR programme (for which financing is available through GUIPRS).
• A GUIPRS would not be awarded to an applicant who is seeking a Commonwealth Government comparable grant or scholarship to cover tuition costs for the HDR scheme.
