About Opporise

Opporise is a free, independent directory built to help students and job seekers find verified scholarships, university admissions, internships, jobs, and events — all in one place, without the noise of paywalls or misleading listings.

We started this project because finding trustworthy, current opportunity information online is harder than it should be. Aggregator sites go stale within weeks, scam listings rank alongside real ones, and a scholarship or job posting that's actually months expired often still shows up in search results with no indication it's dead. Opporise exists to fix that specific problem — a directory where every listing is checked against its own official source, and where an expired deadline is marked as such rather than left to quietly mislead someone.

How Opporise actually works

• There's no account to create and no application handled on this site — every listing links directly to the organization's own official page, and you apply there.
• We don't collect or store any application data, payment details, or documents ourselves, for any listing.
• Each listing is manually researched and written before it's published — we don't scrape or auto-generate entries from other directories.
• Anyone can submit a verified opportunity they know about for review before it goes live.
• Once a deadline passes, the listing stays up and is marked "Deadline passed" instead of being deleted — many scholarships, fellowships and government recruitment cycles reopen on a similar schedule the following year, so the page stays useful as a reference.

A note on accuracy

We do our best to verify every listing, but opportunity providers change their terms without notice. Always confirm details on the official website before applying or sharing personal information — and if something on this site looks wrong or out of date, the "Report a problem" button on that listing goes directly to us.
