Overview

The Czech Republic's government scholarship covers full tuition and living costs for bachelor's, master's and PhD study, with a monthly stipend of roughly CZK 14,000-15,000 (about €545-585). It's open to citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Zambia, with master's students choosing between Czech- and English-taught tracks after a required one-year language preparation course. Applications close 30 September 2026.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Citizens and nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Zambia are required to apply.
• The Czech and English language options for master’s degree candidates who are chosen are both available.
• Those who wish to further their studies in the Czech Republic must first complete a one-year language preparatory programme.
• The English language must be sufficiently advanced for those who want to pursue a master’s degree in English.
• Since only English-language PhD programmes are available, candidates must demonstrate adequate English language proficiency.
• At the time of application, candidates for master’s programmes must have finished a bachelor’s degree programme.
