Overview

EPFL's Excellence Fellowship pays CHF 10,000 per semester (CHF 40,000 total for a 1.5-year degree) plus a CHF 1,800 monthly living allowance, free French courses, travel costs and dorm housing for master's applicants worldwide who hold a bachelor's degree (PhD students aren't eligible); fellows may also work in Switzerland during their studies. Applications close 1 December 2026.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Students from all over the world are eligible for the EPFL Excellence Fellowship in Switzerland 2027.
• Applicants from European countries are also eligible to apply.
• The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree to be eligible for the EPFL Excellence Fellowship in Switzerland 2027.
• Students in PhD programs are ineligible.
